Whilst producing our advertising material it was important to us that we paid much attention to legal and ethical issues to stay within the guidelines of OFCOM and ASA, our advertisement offers a representation of both genders as we used both male and female models throughout the production of our stop motion this shows that the Vintage leather bag company have products for both male and females. The advertising standards authority have codes of practice which cover the misleading of your target audience for this reason we made sure that the products were represented fairly these are genuine products from the vintage leather bag company

We used the likeness of two people in our advertisement however we have adhered to legal laws by making sure that any person featured in the film signed a release and consent form this complies with the ASA standards on privacy. Throughout the production of The Vintage Leather Bag Company we applied the legal rules as we got loyalty free music in our stop motion video therefore we won't get copyrighted as we could download the music without the permission of the maker. Storyboard

The storyboard was done by Shauna who did the writing and drawing on 1,2 and 7 and Evie who did the writing and drawings on 3,4,5 and 6. The storyboard shows what is happening throughout the stop motion of a man and woman each picking up one of the bags in a working looking environment to fit the target audience of an ABC1 as the man is wearing a suit and an apple smart watch and the woman is looking well dressed like she is at work

Material Analysis

This campaign material relates to the target audience because it shows how well made the bag is therefore the target audience for the bag will be ABC1, you can see how good the leather is and that it looks professional.  The photograph has been edited to make the bag look sharper as this makes it look like even better quality as the detailing stands out more so it has a real vintage look towards it.
The production of this campaign shows the close up of the buckle and stitching to show that it of high quality, also the photograph being taken in a white background connoting that it is a professional business and every thing is thought out properly to make the bag look profitable. The logo has been added to the campaign material so the audience know exactly what brand we are putting across and a hash tag underneath it #FORHTEPEOPLE so if people want to look more into it then they can search it up and see what people are saying about the Vintage Leather Bag Company this also relates to the target audience because as they are all of a higher class they would probably have social media for either their own businesses etc. or communicating so they would be able to go into twitter and Instagram and find more about the company . This piece of material represents the client because it is leather and leather is expensive therefore the client must need a high amount of disposable income to buy one of these bags as they are seen as a luxury product.  Also the logo is around the same colour as the bag to represent the high quality feeling about it and the font inside the logo looks like Louis Vuitton which is a very expensive brand so following this trend might make the campaign more effective.

To improve this piece of material I would maybe out the logo somewhere different because it doesn’t look as up to standard with the quality of the bag. Another thing to maybe brighten the rest of the image up except the bag.

On this image I have brightened the rest of the image up except the Leather bag

Vintage Leather Bag Logo

These photos were taken by Shauna and edited by Shauna

Rejected photos

These photographs have been rejected because some have too much exposure to them and we have better shots where the bag looks more professional these are also all shots where the bag isn't fully in the picture at an angle where you can see all the detailing. The shots with the student in them have been rejected because they don't look up to standard however i have edited one of them so it looks better and more professional as you could see the models tie and it shows the school logo but i wanted to make the student look older than he already he is.

Image Edits

On the left side is the original version of a teenager wearing one of the leather bags and the second is the new edit of it using adobe photoshop. As you can see i have got rid of the logo of his school on the tie so it looks like the model is off to work so it attracts more of the target audience rage of 16-35. Also i have adjusted the curves on it to make the overall appliance of it look better.

The top image is the unedited version and the bottom one has been edited through photoshop. I have added the logo and the company name to this one as it suits the image better using the hashtag #FORTHEPEOPLE and the logo has been edited to look like a watermark so it doesn't look too bold. I have darkened the image to make it look sharper for a better image

I have added the logo and the hashtags for social media to the new edit and also changed the curves to make it look darker therefore making the leather look better.
